Last Saturday, we had to say “goodbye” to our dog. Although I would have liked to write a wonderful blog memorial to her, I find I simply cannot and also that my husband has already done so much better than I ever could.
So, I love you, Bear and you will be so missed.
Losing a good friend and companion like that is so hard. When I had to have my long time Chow put down around this time last year, I cried for three days. It was tough, but eventually you are able to love another dog. Bear will always have a special and important place in your heart.
It’s just so hard to accept that their lives are so short. But the memories they leave behind are so sweet and funny and touching. I still smile when I think of the amazing dogs that have graced my life.
